Spain in the Economic and Monetary Union"
Sanjay Jeram is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. He received an Honours BA degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Toronto in 2004, a MA from the Univerity of Western Ontario in 2006, and a PhD from the University of Toronto in 2012.
His doctoral dissertation, entitled Immigration and Minority Nationalism: The Basque Country in Comparative Perspective, examined the influence of strong non-state nationalist identities on the formation of immigrant integration policy at the regional level in Spain. It received high praise from two recognized specialists of Spanish politics and he is currently preparing a book manuscript for publication with the University of Nevada Press.
Dr. Jeram has published peer-reviewed articles in Ethnic and Racial Studies and Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, and has presented at numerous academic conferences. During the 2010-2011 academic years, he was a visiting fellow at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain.

Dr. Robert Gordon
"OAC: Over 130 Years Old and Still Going Strong"
Dr. Robert Gordon is Dean of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph. Robert was previously at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (NSAC) for nine years, serving as a dean of research, department head, professor and Canada Research
Chair. He also headed up the environmental management section of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and administered the Nova Scotia Environmental Farm Plan Program on behalf of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture, the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Agriculture and Agri-food Canada. He also previously served as an extension specialist for the province of Nova Scotia through the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture.
In 2008, he became the 6th Dean of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph. The OAC is the largest agricultural faculty in Canada and has more than 3000 students including over 900 associate diploma, 1800 undergraduate and more than 700 graduate students. OAC faculty and staff bring in approximately $56 million per year in research to support food, agriculture, the environment and community innovations in Ontario and beyond.
Dr. Gordon earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering and a master's degree in agricultural engineering from Macdonald College of McGill University and a PhD in land resource science from the U of G. He also holds an engineering diploma from NSAC.
